DISCOVER ACNE’S SPRING/SUMMER 2018 COLLECTION

This season Johnny Johansson had a taste for vintage-looking clothes, pieces you’d find at thrift stores and that carry a special meaning linked to their time. It was all about grandma-meets-70s disco queen with colorful satin shirts, hot pink vinyl jackets or floral-print flowy blouses. Color-wise, the pastel palette ranged from soft mint-green to muted mauve with hints of lime green and gold here and there. Acne is well-known for customizing well-known classics and this season the accent was put on making old clothes look new again with a groovy 70s aesthetic. Another inspiration was furniture and homewear as seen on carpet-like dresses and skirts with tassels and fringing. The collection is meant to be mixed, matched and adapted to daily wear.
