At this particular strange time when everyone is housebound, having to find new ways to occupy themselves, the McQueen house decided to allow its fans to listen to streamed music made specially for the McQueen fashion shows. Named the #McQueenMusic project, it comprises of a nine-hour selection that will soon be available on the McQueen Spotify channel, made by John Gosling who has been in charge of the soundtrack for the brand’s shows for over twenty years. The house is also working with a number of collaborators, including Isobel Waller Bridge and the London Contemporary Orchestra, who respectively composed and performed the soundtrack for the Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2020 show, to create additional playlists and record new tracks to share in the near future.
