Entitled « Game on », the Louis Vuitton collection stems from Nicolas Ghesquière’s constant need to play with all the cursors of womenswear, taking classic shapes and making them travel through his vast imagination, blending futuristic elements with more casual pieces. Silhouettes are sharp, as always, with touches of ruffles pouring down and flowy sleeves which add a romantic feeling. « Game on » is also focused on the fantasy of illusion, where the clover becomes a petal, the spade becomes a pin, the tile embroiders…  It’s the symbolism of the card game, faithful companion of the journey, the link to the fun and the sharing.
