DISCOVER THE HIGHLIGHTS FROM DRIES VAN NOTEN’S LATEST SHOW

Dries Van Noten’s fashion show was charged with such a special atmosphere. As usual, the Belgian designer stunned us with a sober but significant installation, including mirrors to view the models twice. And the location: its incredible length created a wholly unique kind of perspective. As for the collection, we noticed confident men walking the runway to the rhythm of upbeat dance music. Models arrived in oversized coats, fluid cardigans, and two coats worn one over another to create a visible lining effect. As usual, Van Noten favors checked coats, tanks (in wool, of course, but still an original choice for winter), and python boots. Tuxedos are extra-tailored this season, while the Christmas sweater is revisited with sparkling glitter and other pieces are updated with polished orange touches. Dries Van Noten unveiled a chic, sexy, and desirable take on classic winter pieces. And we loved it.
