DRIES VAN NOTEN S/S 2014 SHOW, PARIS

This eccentric show opened with bass guitar chords reverberating from Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood, was set in La Halle Freyssinet. Belgian designer, Dries Van Noten dressed models with opulent gold touches on sportswear vest straps and luxurious blouses. He showed a masterful mix of loud and soft looks, simple or ornate, ethnic or classic. For his spring-summer 2014 collection, emphasis was placed on silky structured jacket, and flowers ornement.
