It’s the first day of Paris Men’s Fashion Week and the Japanese label Facetasm has assembled in a raw and pure building near the Place de la Bastille. Walls are white and the ground is naked. This collection is about freedom, self-expression, and youth. Incredible colors, great volumes, and layering provide an amazing source of inspiration. The Japanese designer delivers immense originality in several patterns like flowers or stripes. Men and women also switch their fashion items: women wear masculine oversize puffa jackets and men sport girly floral pants. Codes are redefined for the best.

With Facetasm, facing a cold winter means a chance to have a lot of fun. We have a special crush on the velvet oversize pyjama inspired by the kimono shape that has caught our eye. Finally, the atmosphere stays electric and stimulating as we listen to Queen’s hit: “Under Pressure.” The song is a truly meaningful anthem of self-expression, telling us to stop feeling under pressure and to do what we like and just be ourselves. Message received loud and clear.
