Marc Jacobs is a longtime friend and guide of Kim Jones, with this collection a deeper, more interpersonal dialogue is once again created towards Jacobs’ respect for FENDI.
In this collection we see Marc Jacobs’ pure interpretation of FENDI, where we dwell on the mere exploration of silhouettes and iconic bags such as the Baguette and Peekaboo.

The Baguette is an icon of the brand, a representation of it that has had different facets over the years but has consistently represented the brand’s history and tradition. The FENDI by Marc Jacobs collection aims to celebrate this emblematic accessory in the year of its 25th anniversary, along with the city where its place in pop culture history was marked: New York.

Within the collection, each dress comes to life thanks to the inspiration brought by the « City that never sleeps, » a city full of grit and multiculturalism, where different traditions mingle and make it so unique and unforgettable.
Parachute train skirts, denim jackets broken by balloons, opera capes made of rustling cellophane and recycled fur stoles and hats.
Elements characteristic of the city can be found in the collection, such as silver rhinestones and fluorescent yellow, colors inspired by the glass facades and hi-vis vests of workers on the city streets.
Exaggerated, platform and oversized, even the Baguette itself shares something of the grand gestures of these silhouettes elongated and glittery, complete with multiple mini versions of itself.
