FENDI CELEBRATES 100 YEARS WITH LO SPIRITO DEL TEMPO
By Iris JEANSON
With the Fall/Winter 2025-2026 collection, Silvia Venturini Fendi marks the century of Fendi founded in Rome in 1925 by her grandparents, Edoardo Fendi and Adele Casagrande Fendi. The collection, titled Lo Spirito del Tempo, celebrates the heritage of the house, with a collection that merges memory and modernity.
Fendi 100 is a tribute to personal and imagined memories such as those of the five Fendi sisters – Alda, Anna, Carla, Franca and Paola playing in the atelier on Via Borgognona in Rome. The collection features refined tailoring, bold textures, and rich colors inspired by Rome’s timeless beauty. Flared coats, deconstructed wool, and iconic shearling stoles embody Fendi’s mastery in luxury fashion.
Accessories take on a retro-futuristic twist, with reimagined Fendi icons like the Giano purse and Spy Bag, while the jewelry collection designed by Delfina Delettrez Fendi shines with statement pieces that evoke both opulence and modernity.
The show is marked by family tradition, as Dardo and Tazio, the 7-year-old twin sons of Delfina Delettrez Fendi, open the show wearing replicas of an ensemble designed by Karl Lagerfeld. The soundtrack, curated by Michel Gaubert, brings Italian music legends into the spotlight.
Lo Spirito del Tempo is a celebration of Fendi’s legacy, a bold step into its next century of craftsmanship and innovation.
