BACKSTAGE FENDI FALL-WINTER 2017/18 COLLECTION – MILAN

Warm autumnal colors abound in Fendi’s Fall Winter 2017-2018 collection: in hues from scarlet to brown, Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Fendi have crafted a collection that catches the eye at every turn. Caramel mink heats up the Prince of Wales pant suit, while a pleated blue skirt pairs with a wide collar camel coat. Smart color combinations lend this winter collection a sensual and well-wrought aspect. With graphic furs and flowing pieces, the collection restores all the nobility of the Italian fashion house by resurrecting the double F logo in a fur version seen on accessories, like hoop earrings wrapped in leather and filled with a capital F, as well as sportswear belts and the brand’s iconic bags: Baguette, Peekabo, Kan I, and the recently added Run Away.
Standouts from the collection include the carmine thigh boots that add length and femininity to the silhouette. With sheer evening gowns, cinched dresses, and pleated print skirts, Fendi’s latest collection continues its tradition of creating feminine silhouettes.
