Fendi has just announced that Kim Jones – new creative director of the House since last September – will present his first ever Couture Collection for Spring/Summer 2021 on Wednesday, 27th January at the Palais Brongniart in Paris during Haute Couture Week. As the first designer to follow in the steps of Karl Lagerfeld, who held Fendi since 1965, the stakes are high for Kim Jones. It will surely be a great departure from what we all know from the Italian House but that means we’ll be surprised as we gear up to discover its new identity, under the influence of a genius of our times.
