Franco-Swiss artist based in Berlin Julian Charrière, presents his first solo exhibition at the gallery since the announcement of his representation. Charrière’s showcase features iconic works such as « And Beneath It All Flows Liquid Fire, » a film illustrating the coexistence of opposing elements like water and fire in a flaming fountain, « Panchronic Garden, » and an immersive installation reflecting our complex history of lithosphere exploitation and the vast carboniferous forests that blanketed the planet some 300 million years ago. Additionally, new sculptures will be unveiled, marking a milestone in Charrière’s artistic journey.

Hernan Bas, will present his sixth solo exhibition, « The First and the Last, » at the gallery. Through a blend of paintings and works on paper, Bas delves into the blurred boundaries between reality and fiction, inviting viewers into a realm where the extraordinary and mundane intersect. His work prompts reflection on the fragility of life and the nuances of human relationships. Taking cues from recent events, such as a tourist caught carving their name into the Colosseum in Rome. The American artist Bas embarks on a captivating exploration of life’s absurdities and the poignant beauty that emerges from them.

Czech sculptor Klara Kristalova presents « Beast, » featuring a collection of new sculptures and works on paper where reality intertwines with fiction, and the boundaries between nature and humanity blur, revealing the fragility of life and the complexity of interpersonal relationships.

Art enthusiasts  are invited to immerse themselves in this diverse array of artistic expressions, each offering a unique perspective on the human condition and our relationship with the world around us.

These three exhibitions will run from April 13th, 2024, until June 1st, 2024, at Galerie Perrotin Paris.
