PERROTIN OPENS A GALLERY IN NEW YORK

Galerie Perrotin, one of the top contemporary-art galeries in France,  will inaugurate this Fall, its new space on Madison Avenue in New York.

After opening this year in Hong Kong, Perrotin will be at the 1932 Bank of New York building, a historic landmark on Manhattan’s Upper Eastside. (Facade of Galerie Perrotin, New York, Photography by Genvieve Hanson)

The first show is a solo exhibition of italian artist, Paola Pivi. Some of Pivi works contain performance elements, at times involving live animals and people she uses a wide range of art techniques, such as photography, sculpture and performance.

Animals are recurrent in her work suchs as: polars bears who are highlighted in Paola Pivi’s art. Perrotin Gallery  909 Madison Avenue, NY 1002
