GESTE: AN UNDERGROUND PHOTO EXHIBITION IN PARIS

DISCOVER « GESTE », A PARIS’ UNDERGROUND PHOTO EXHIBITION
« I imagine that the essential gesture of the photographer is to surprise something or someone through the little hole in the camera, » wrote Roland Barthes. Taking the geste photographique as its starting point, GESTE is an underground photo exhibition that brings together contemporary and vintage photographs from different generations of both emerging and established artists. Curated by Shiva Lynn Burgos and Hailey Widrig, the exhibition aims to illustrate the photographic gesture through the artists’ different sensibilities and aesthetics. The exhibition features artists like Samuel Boutruche, Erich Hartmann, Sara Lucas, Man Ray, Daido Moriyama, Ned&ShivaProductions, Frank Perrin, and more.
Discover the exhibition at 10, rue Croix des Petits-Champs 75001 Paris from November 7 to 16th (Tue-Sun).
