GIANFRANCO LOTTI INAUGURATES ITS SALON PRIVÉ IN FLORENCE

LUXURY HOUSE GIANFRANCO LOTTI IS THRIVING

On November 4th, a handful of priviledged guests were invited to the inauguration of Gianfranco Lotti’s Salon Privé in Florence. Created in 1968, Gianfranco Lotti is a luxury House specialzed in leather goods, which was entirely operated as a family business until 2013, when the Halder investment fund became main shareholder. For the Gianfranco Lotti brand, this move meant a rebirth. From the get-go, Gianfranco Lotti has been about highlighting the incredible artisanal craftsmanship found in Florence and translating it into luxurious, modern handbags inspired by the Florentine way of life. Gianfranco Lotti’s CEO, Franco Lucà, intends to continue bringing the House’s DNA to life and grow its influence with an accent put on durability and human values shared on every level within the company. On this night of November 4th, the House introduced its new face and spokesperson, model and actress Madalina Ghenea – who is starring in Youth, Paolo Sorrentino’s latest feature film. The event was the occasion to introduce the Salon Privé, an exclusive venue designed for clients to come and have their completely personalized Gianfranco Lotti handbag designed for them. This unique service of made-to-measure has a name: One Piece Only. Later in the night, Ghenea showed her One Piece Only handbag, a tote bag made of crocodile, ostrich and lizard skin bearing the emblematic KEYLock system. The Salon Privé in Florence is an oasis of pure refinement: located in 400 square meter private apartments in a historical building on Via Tornabuoni, the salon is just a few steps away from the first Gianfranco Lotti’s flagship store, which opened in 1993.
