GUCCI FALL-WINTER 2015-2016 CAMPAIGN
By Crash redaction
The Gucci Fall-Winter 2015-2016 campaign is Alessandro Michele’s second campaign since being appointed Creative Director of the Italian House. Photographed by Glen Luchford and styled by Joe McKenna under the artistic direction of Chris Simmonds, the campaign tells the story of a wandering through our present society and captures moments of a life. Models Tessa Charlotte Bruinsma, Tobias Lundh, Lia Pavlova, and Sven de Vries evolve in an urban context that witnesses their habits, questionings, movements, passions, desires, their present, and their future. Alessandro Michele creates a new language for Gucci that comes with a subtle yet roughly real aesthetic. More than a given silhouette, it’s an attitude that Michele transmits. Somewhere between feminine and masculine, past and present, the reality and the unexpected, the Gucci Fall-Winter 2015-2016 campaign is the best representation of what fashion is today: a story to be told.
