On the occasion of its centenary, Gucci is announcing its entry into the world of fine watchmaking with an exceptional collection of contemporary watches by Creative Director Alessandro Michele. Each of these creations is transcended by the creativity, craftsmanship and technical mastery that have characterized the fashion and luxury house’s designs since its founding in 1921 by Guccio Gucci.

The new Haute Horlogerie collection consists of four lines: Gucci 25H, G-Timeless, Grip and Haute Joaillerie watches. Each is inspired by Gucci’s artisanal heritage and iconic elements such as flora and fauna, talismans and the famous GG logo.

The Gucci 25H collection has a name that is both symbolic and playful: 25 is a number that Alessandro Michele considers a talisman and to which he often refers to in his Gucci collections. The name of the GG727.25 caliber contains several other important numerical symbols: the 7 expresses achievement, the 2 represents balance and cooperation, and the 5 symbolizes curiosity and freedom.
