GUCCI REVEALS NEW ART WALLS FOR A/W 2019/20

By Crash

Alessandro Michele isn’t used to doing things like everybody else. In fact he loves to look beyond the norms and that sometimes means going back in time, before printed advertising. For several years, Gucci has been placing super creative and artistic campaigns directly on the walls of buildings and houses around the world. With a will to tell the story of fashion through the ages – from the 1950s to the 1980s – the Italian house puts an emphasis on the garment as it was done in the beginning for its A/W 2019/20 campaign. No fuss, no celebrity, just clothes taking the spotlight and making a statement. Craftsmanship remains at the centre of the conversation.

The Gucci walls will be found on Lafayette Street in Soho, in the Corso Garibaldi quarter in Milan, next to Brick Lane in London, in D’Aguilar street in Hong Kong, the Jing’an quarter in Shanghai, in Taipei and on the Avenida de Michoacan in Mexico.
