Helmut Lang just presented the Fall/Winter 2021 collection for men and women, in the form of a lookbook where you can spot the ever charismatic supermodel Maggie Maurer, who seems to perfectly embody the house’s silhouettes. As always, the looks are a minimalist’s dream but this time with a touch of outer space – think slashes of silver on mini-skirts and pants – and utilitarian with a striking olive green corduroy flared set.

Inspired by ski attire and weatherproof garments, functional and hi-tech materials such as double neoprene and astro foil are used for water resistant, wind proof, padded and quilted garments, and given a sci-fi appearance through their matte, silver and reflective surfaces. It’s casual meets elegant eveningwear, always reaching for the most understated chic.
