
HER DIOR: MARIA GRAZIA CHIURI’S ARTISTIC COLLABORATIONS WITH WOMEN

Today, March 8th 2025, as we celebrate International Women’s day, Dior releases Her Dior – Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Collaborations with Women Artists, directed by Loïc Prigent. It takes us behind the scenes of Chiuri’s transformative work at Dior. The documentary explores her deep connections with women artists since her arrival in 2016, showcasing a powerful narrative of sisterhood, passion, and creativity.
Featuring voices from influential artists like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie whose essay We Should All Be Feminists sparked a statement T-shirt, an emblematic piece in Maria Grazia Chiuri’s first collection –Tomaso Binga, Robin Morgan, Penny Slinger, Judy Chicago, Fulvia Carnevale, Silvia Giambrone, Sharon Eyal, Eva Jospin, Anna Paparatti, Mariella Bettineschi, Mickalene Thomas, Joana Vasconcelos, Elina Chauvet, Isabella Ducrot, Suzanne Santoro, SAGG Napoli, Brigitte Niedermair and Brigitte Lacombe. The film highlights how Chiuri has woven their visions into Dior’s collections, creating a unique blend of fashion and art. These collaborations have resulted in extraordinary pieces that reflect feminist voices and values.
Through intimate discussions and archival footage, Her Dior reveals the profound bonds Chiuri shares with these artists, as well as her personal journey from her native Rome to the global stage. The film celebrates the creative power of women and their ability to inspire one another, demonstrating that fashion and art are powerful tools for female expression and solidarity.
Her Dior offers a glimpse into how Chiuri continues to shape Dior’s future through her commitment to female empowerment and artistic collaboration.
