HERMES FALL-WINTER 2015 PARIS
By Crash redaction
Monday, March 9th was a big day for Hermès: it was the first collection of new Creative Director Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski. For her first collection, she decided to pay hommage to the French House’s heritage, and it was a success. Using leather in many different ways – raw, quilted, calfskin leather – for tops, jackets and trapeze coats, Vanhee-Cybuski perfectly respected the history of Hermès. There were some more fluid silhouettes that referenced the iconic « carré Hermès » with their patterns. It was great to see that, even with the change of creative direction, there still is that sense of continuity. A great start for Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski that will lead to many more successful collections.
