FENDI RELEASE MEN’S F/W 24-25 ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN

By Chloe Edstein

Fendi strengthens its partnership with Nicholas Galitzine and Zhang Ruoyun through their latest campaign. The two celebrities have been involved with Fendi for a while, with Nicholas Galitzine becoming the first-ever Global Menswear Ambassador in 2023 after initially attending Fendi’s Baguette 25th Anniversary show in New York in September 2022. He also represented the brand in the Men’s Fall/Winter 2023-24 campaign. Meanwhile, Zhang Ruoyun was appointed as Fendi’s spokesperson for leather goods in China as far back as 2021.

Fendi’s Men’s Fall/Winter 2024-25 collection, envisioned by Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear Silvia Venturini Fendi, draws inspiration from the pursuits of the great outdoors, infused with urban flair. The collection’s essence comes to life in the new campaign, creatively and cinematically directed by the versatile Italian artist Nico Vascellari. Galitzine and Ruoyun are depicted within a metallic and geometric backdrop enhanced by transparent glass structures, reminiscent of the brushed steel FF monogram benches showcased on the FENDI Men’s Fall/Winter 2024-25 runway, also crafted by Vascellari.

The latest collection showcases signature looks and accessories worn by Galitzine and Ruoyun, adding a surprising and captivating touch. The influence of the Scottish kilt is evident in the long pleated shorts paired with leather Wellingtons and hiking socks. The outerwear is adorned with Selleria leather collars and contrasting accents in suede ‘corduroy’, featuring fisherman’s coats and waterproof wax jackets in FF canvas. The colour-blocked knitwear complements the tailoring with playful details, and the evening attire is adorned with exquisite crystal FF evening brooches designed by Delfina Delettrez Fendi, Artistic Director of Jewellery. The bags boast distinctive curves and contours, including the new Siesta bag and the modular Melon hobo and backpack styles. Additionally, the Peekaboo ISeeU Soft and the Baguette Soft Trunk display distinct designs, while the footwear includes lace-up deck shoes with an elevated platform sole and grain leather Wellington boots accented with Selleria stitching up the ankle.
