HOMME PLISSE ISSEY MIYAKE AUTUMN-WINTER 2016 CAMPAIGN

Homme Plisse  Issey Miyake just unveiled its Autumn-Winter 2016 collection with a beautiful video campaign directed by Pascal Monfort. The collection is inspired by nations flags, that are reproduced with striped prints on hooded long jackets, vests and flimsy trousers while the silhouette is enhanced by the hakama high waisted model trousers paired with suspenders or belts. The prints are drew handmade and mixed with laptop pixels or made from graved wood for an avant-garde style based on cuts and shapes in line with Issey Miyake’s core values. Compared to an extravagant comedy by its director, the campaign features a man surrounded by surrealist objects, finding its place in an unbalanced yet interesting environment.
