Tucked away in historic downtown Naples lies a hidden retreat : the studio of Native American artist Jimmie Durham and Brazilian artist Maria Thereza Alves, who split their time between Berlin and the mythical Italian city. In this silent and medieval environment, they prepare their exhibitions and receive their students, teaching them to alter their perception of the material world and find the magic contained in the various objects that populate their daily lives.
