Jacob & co has just announced a collaboration with the fashion superstar Virgil Abloh, known for being the artistic director at Louis Vuitton men’s and the founder of cult brand Off-White. The pair have crafted a collection called Office Supplies, transforming daily objects like paper clips into precious jewelry. A simple and modern symbol of gentle nostalgia, the paper clip takes us back to childhood and its creations, where it was assembled as a chain, bracelet or anything else. With the Office Supplies collection, the two designers transform simplicity into luxury, reinterpreting a universal pastime through handcrafted work and precious materials such as gold and yellow diamonds. « To use something ubiquitous like the paper clip and transform it into a beautiful object was a real challenge » said Jacob Arabo.
