DESIGN MIAMI 2016 : MAISON KITSUNÉ COLLABORATES WITH JOHN ALCORN

Maison Kitsuné has teamed up with artist John Alcorn to present an inspired capsule collection at Design Miami 2016. As one of the biggest design exhibitions of the year, Design Miami comes along with plenty of associated projects and collaborations. One of this year’s most inspired projects is the Maison Kitsuné capsule collection, conceived in partnership with John Alcorn. As an artist, he created some of the most remarkable illustrations of the 20th century, always evoking a sense of joy with every single work, from his posters for Fellini movies to his ads for Pepsi and Campbell’s Soup. Collaborating with the Japanese fashion house, the artist has unveiled an original and funny collection that celebrates the spirit of Miami with palm trees and warm colors. Of course, the pieces also celebrate Japan – and the early days of Maison Kitsuné – with the iconic print of Mount Fuji restyled in the warmest tones. The delightfully funky collection features tee shirts, tanks, tote bags, bandanas, and sweatshirts in the colors of Miami.
