For those who were feeling blue after the designer sudden departure, this is great news: John Galliano is back. This morning, OTB, the group owned by Renzo Rosso that counts iconic houses such as Diesel, Marni and Viktor & Rolf, broke the news: John Galliano has just been appointed as the new Creative Director of Maison Martin Margiela. After years with an anonymous creative director, the house has decided to take a new turn with one of the most well-known and iconic designers of all. As Renzo Rosso declared, « Margiela is ready for a new charismatic creative soul ». No doubt that John Galliano will create that « fashion dream » only he knows how to create.
