JOURNEY OF A DRESS

It’s been 40 years since Diane von Furstenberg came up with the groundbreaking idea of the wrap dress, but this wardrobe staple never seem to age. To celebrate the iconic dress’ 40th birthday, DVF invites a handful of celebrities to sport a wrap dress in their own way. Their « wrap dress experience » is then documented on social media and through a series of photographs and videos on a monthly basis on dvf.com.  This time, DVF collaborates with Emma Roberts, capturing the young actress enjoying a walk on a Malibu beach wearing her black and white wrap dress and telling us why she loves it so much.

Diane von Furstenberg said it best when she explained, « the power of the wrap dress comes from the women all around  the world. It’s the way they wear it, what they’ve accomplished with it and how it makes them feel ».
