This season, everyone finds themselves in need to reinvent their ways of presenting collections. Mr. Watanabe decided to a shoot a series of photographies showcasing interesting people from Japan and the rest of the world, people who are passionate about what they do, whether it be making delicious and refined sushi, repairing cars or DJing. The photos pay tribute to each of them and their specialties, as the men are captured in their workplace.

Books were also at the heart of his inspirations and each silhouette is introduced by a specific title that is dear to the designer’s heart: « This season I found myself reflecting on the power of the books around me – precious items that I value, though I may not open them every day. Many of the pieces in this collection depict and introduce these books. » said Junya Watanabe. The collection will also be launched as a book designed by Tony Brook.
