This Junya Watanabe Man Spring-Summer 2017 collection was a punk one. The models wore nose piercing earrings and were covered in tattoos that created a second skin all over their body. This created a sort of double texture effect in which the prints on the clothes were is some way extended to the models skins. But the rebellious vibe wasn’t only in the attitude. The whole collection was inspired by British 70s, with tailored suits replacing trousers with skinny bermudas or perfecto leather coats paired with printed t-shirts and striped joggings. Floral prints appeared on black and white shirts and denim jackets sleeves details, for a summery touch as soon redirect on a rock and roll vibe by studded leather loafers.
