K24 MEMENTO COLLECTION – THE ART OF MEMORY IN GOLD

By Max Mendel

K24 debuts the « Memento collection », a series of twelve non-gendered pieces crafted in 18- and 24-carat recycled gold. Founded by designer and architect Adrien Lucien Marchand, the collection balances strength and fragility, as well as organic forms and industrial precision. This balance creates a dialogue of contrasts within the jewelry. Signature notches etched into the gold symbolize moments and memories, evolving as the pieces move with the wearer. Rings can be stacked to create an evolving mechanism of interconnected memories.

The collection highlights minimalism and complexity in designs like the « Mémento 3 Times Bracelet«  and « Mémento Thread + Rings Necklace ». Sculptural pieces such as the « Mémento Side Earcuff«  and « Mémento Vertical Padlock Necklace » blend fine gold threads with bold, structural elements, embodying an esoteric and futuristic aesthetic. Sustainability is central, with recycled gold chosen for its infinite durability and symbolic permanence.

Handcrafted in a French atelier, the collection honours traditional craftsmanship while embracing modern innovation. Marchand’s design philosophy, shaped by his early mentorship with master artisan Pietro Seminelli, emphasizes material interaction, light, and movement, which is evident in the tactile elegance of each piece.

« Memento » is a manifesto of individuality and shared memory. Its transformative designs invite wearers to create their own stories, layering and reimagining each piece over time. K24’s debut marks a bold evolution in contemporary jewelry, blending tradition, innovation, and personal expression.
