Lanvin is revisiting its iconic “flou” technique for its Spring 2025 collection, showcasing the brand’s unparalleled expertise in draping. The collection blends timeless elegance with modern elements, presenting a range of day and evening wear that solidifies Lanvin’s reputation as a sophisticated and comfortable House suited for all occasions.

This collection is characterised by playful volumes, delicate fabrics, and a vibrant colour palette. The shades of Carmine Red, Anemone, and Daffodil harmonise with Linen, Petrol, and Verdigris tones. Anemone is used to highlight stand-out pieces often in solid colour with only hardware creating texture. At other times it glimmers through in the details, like when it peeks out the collar of a grey slouchy dress shirt paired with a linen skirt, forever blending comfort and sophistication. The women’s pieces feature dresses and tops in Crepe De Chine and washed Crepe satin adorned with Art Deco-inspired jewellery, while the men’s line presents relaxed tailoring with deconstructed jackets, shorts, and oversized trousers. The layering of multiple collared dress shirts in the men’s wear gives a classic professional look a comfortable and soft side. Furthermore, Lanvin pairs clean blazers with washed denim creating the perfect balance between sophistication and relaxation. In the women’s wear this same effect is achieved through layering cotton button-ups with gathered draped jackets that provide a softness and lived-in feel. On the other hand, looks are elevated with the addition of cotton neck scarves, tie necklines, and structured jackets.

Enhancing daytime looks this season is the bucket bag coming in Raffia, Black, or Linen. The House’s emblematic bags, adopt the colours of the collection to make them the perfect go-to. The Mélodie Candy collection offers a playful and modern interpretation of the classic Mélodie collection adding an industrial element to the collection.

Inspired by contemporary dance icons such as Loïe Fuller, Isadora Duncan, and Pina Bausch, the Evening Edition, a staple of Lanvin collection, continues with long, draped, elegant dresses, adorned with embroidery – each named after the theme of the music, evoking the sensual movement of dance.

The L’Été Lanvin capsule pays homage to the summers of Jeanne Lanvin and her daughter Marguerite in Beaulieu-sur-Mer. Inspired by the ‘Jardin Imaginaire’ by Armand Albert Rateau, this lively collection combines a new Carmine Red Art Deco botanical print with pieces in ecru cotton poplin decorated with English embroidery.
