Among the new men designers’s talents, we find Liam Hodges who gave a show in London on January, the 6th. This season, we still find many of the current trends as the superposition illustrated here by many t-shirts gathered but also the puffa jacket and the famous hoodie. This collection is rythmed by winter colors : a lot of black, white and green, whose forest, acid green and olive. Liam Hodges had many inspirations as military or Mad Max and Total Recall movies to create a dystopian wardrobe for next cold days. In this collection, the designer plays with the asymmetry that we find on sweaters and pants. Among the prints, the digital print camouflage is omnipresent. The pants are high-waisted with a belt, embellished with patchworks or zips. Some of the jackets are made without collar because according to the designer, they will always be worn with a hoodie so they don’t necessarily need it. To bring a little heat, there are few touches of fur including a fluo fur coat achieved in collaboration with Kopenhagen. Special crush on the puffa pant that matches with the coat. The collection reveals many accessories as little round hats, caps, camouflage saddlebags and pairs of Converse. Liam Hodges has concocted a winter collection, comfortable and trendy but with a huge dose of fun.
