LORO PIANA & DIMOREMILANO AT MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2025
By Iris JEANSON
At Milan Design Week 2025, Loro Piana and Dimoremilano debut La Prima Notte di Quiete—an immersive installation that blurs the line between interior design and cinema. Set in Loro Piana’s Cortile della Seta courtyard, the experience unveils through a dreamlike home inspired by 1970s-80s aesthetics, filled with exceptional furniture designed by Dimorestudio and crafted in Loro Piana’s luxurious fabrics. The artworks on display are from Tornabuoni Art, Cardi Gallery, and Galleria Gracis e Secci Gallery.
Each room, curated by Dimorestudio, evokes calm and cinematic nostalgia, enhanced by warm materials like cashmere, mohair velvet, and wool, and enriched by Nicola Guiducci’s sound design. New pieces like the Valsesia table, Quarona poufs, and Trivero armchairs showcase the evolution of Loro Piana Interiors with touches of lacquered wood, glass, and satin brass.
The installation also introduces Loro Piana’s first tableware collection, Punti a Maglia, handcrafted in Limoges with the finest porcelain by 50 artisans and decorated with a pattern of threads that chase, knot, and intertwine.
The installation is open to the public from Tuesday, April 8th to Sunday, April 13th.
