LORO PIANA FW25-26: THE WAY WE WERE
By Iris JEANSON
Loro Piana’s Fall/Winter 2025-2026 Women’s Collection, The Way We Were, is an equestrian-inspired journey through Argentina, Scotland, and Australia. This collection blends enduring craftsmanship with nature’s elegance, celebrating movement, texture, and understated luxury.
Inspired by horse riding, the collection features functional yet elegant silhouettes, including pantskirts, long skirts, cropped jackets, and quilted outerwear. Signature Loro Piana textures ; cheviot, cashmere, silk, and Merino wool appear in earthy tones of brandy, vintage brown, deep oak, and creamy vanilla, along with navy and black.
The Spagna jacket returns in cropped and knee-length versions, paired with mannish tailoring. Eveningwear embraces an Opera-inspired aesthetic, with silk satin and charmeuse in black and white. Accessories include wide-brimmed hats, big sunglasses, and enamel jewelry. New pieces include The Extra Bag L23 and the Needle Bag, inspired by knitting needle cases. The Loom bag debuts in Nubuck Zibeline and Cash Tweed, while a Le Chameau collaboration introduces rubber riding boots with Loro Piana detailing.
Loro Piana unveils Royal Lightness, a groundbreaking textile combining 13.5-micron Merino wool and 21-denier Mulberry silk. This ultra-light yarn and fabric, crafted in Italy, offers luminous refinement.
This collection reaffirms Loro Piana’s commitment to harmonizing fashion with nature, celebrating movement, craftsmanship, and timeless elegance.
