Inspired by his mother’s stories of an old Hollywood, Alessandro presents his second collection for the 100th year anniversary of Gucci. Seduced by the escapism and glamour of the era; Marylin Monroe, the long satin gloves of Rita Hayworth, Veronica Lake, the charm of Rock Hudson; he sent models down Hollywood Boulevard, the original red carpet and runway, in exaggerated old world glamour, mixed with modern sportswear and striking colour and fabric combinations, giving the whole collection a ‘modern old world sparkle’. 

Streamed live to a digital audience he brought the excitement of the IRL fashion show back but without forgetting the accessibility that the digital world can offer, giving Hollywood exclusivity a global stage on which to perform.
