MAISON CARON CELEBRATES 120 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
By Max Mendel
Over the past century, Caron has established itself as a trailblazer in the perfume industry, introducing pioneering creations that shaped olfactory history. From the first perfume for men, Pour Un Homme de Caron, to the groundbreaking Tabac Blond and the innovative refillable fountain format, Caron’s visionary feats have become icons of scent.
To celebrate this milestone, Caron has collaborated with Harry Nuriev, interior designer and founder of Crosby Studios, to create an immersive pop-up experience that honours the Maison’s rich heritage while captivating a new generation of fragrance enthusiasts. The pop-up at 23 rue François 1er in Paris merges past and present, featuring a majestic reinterpreted fountain and shelves displaying both original fragrances and historical fragments. Visitors can indulge in iconic scents such as Pour Un Homme de Caron, Narcisse Noir, Tabac Blond, Pois de Senteur, and Fleurs de Rocaille, exploring the dialogue between time-honoured creations and contemporary innovations.
This anniversary not only celebrates Caron’s storied past but also looks toward the future, as the Maison continues to inspire with emotional elixirs that evoke both nostalgia and wonder. Join Caron in this celebration of 120 years of innovation and artistry, as the maison invites all to experience the essence of its extraordinary journey.
