MARC JACOBS RESORT 2016 COLLECTION NEW YORK

On June 9, Marc Jacobs presented his latest Resort 2016 collection in New York. Amber Valletta opened the show sporting a black embroidered jacket, a knee-long skirt and black Mary-Janes that set the tone for the whole collection, which attention to detail and embellishments were the main attract. Dark eyebrows and black headscarves gave a touch of up-to-date styling while the rough, almost clerical aesthetic loosened up towards the end of the show with more fluid long dresses and skirts. Touches of dark blue and red as well as tropical flower prints on sheer dresses closed the show on a very resort note.
