We were all waiting for the Marc Jacobs SS16 fashion show in New York: the show definitely measured up to greatest expectations. To close this fashion week, Marc Jacobs created an amazing performance to present its new collection on the theme of a Movie Premiere, inside the Ziegfeld Theater. A huge poster announced « One Night Only, Marc Jacobs, #MarcJacobsPremiere ». Models were graciously walking on the red carpet as Hollywood stars. But sharp silhouettes are the most important part of this event. As a matter of fact, the show was one of the most expected because it’s the first since Marc Jacobs merged his eponymous brand with the Marc by Marc Jacobs line. Indeed, it’s a successful gamble since the collection is clearly one of most original, modern and eccentric Marc Jacobs ever designed. This collection is actually an ode to american retro spirit, the reminder of college years. As a true « fanfare », this fashion show is playful performance,  and a true awaken dream.

As usual, Marc Jacobs managed to create the most exciting fashion show of this New York fashion week.
