Chanel has announced Australian actress and producer, Margot Robbie, as the new face of the Chanel N°5 fragrance. She will feature in the advertising campaigns dedicated to the fragrance. Margot Robbie has been an ambassador for Chanel since 2018, wearing many Chanel looks on red carpets and press runs over the years. 

Margot Robbie is a highly esteemed actress and has gained critical acclaim throughout her career. Robbie’s first major role was in The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) directed by Martin Scorsese, where she graced the screen alongside Academy Award Winner, Leonardo Dicaprio and many other notable actors. She played the iconic DC comic character, Harley Quinn, in the Suicide Squad franchise, Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) and starred in Damien Chazelle’s star-studded Babylon (2022). Robbie received her first Oscar nomination for her role depicting figure skater, Tonya Harding, in I, Tonya. 

In addition to acting, Robbie is also the owner of a production company and has produced several films such as I, Tonya, and the record-breaking movie Barbie (2023) directed by Greta Gerwig and led by herself as Barbie.
