On the occasion of the Milan Design Week, Miu Miu has teamed up with M / M to design a special limited-edition stool that can be endlessly personalized. Made from linden wood, this three-legged stool is scattered with systematically distributed perforations, where 300 oversized « match sticks » of twelve different colors come into play. The MIU MIU M / MATCHING COLORSTOOL is presented as a board game – or a puzzle – that you must solve on your own. It’s you and the stool. It was launched in the Teatro Gerolamo, which is considered to be the first theatre in Europe to stage puppet shows for Milanese kids. Stools line the perimeter of the space, as in a theatrical performance or fashion show, but the subject of the presentation is actually a spectacular assembly of stools stacked on an impressive height.
