In 2024, Miu Miu continues this mission as the Public Program Official Partner of Art Basel Paris. The Italian brand presents “Tales & Tellers,” a major project at the Palais d’Iéna, curated by interdisciplinary artist Goshka Macuga and Elvira Dyangani Ose, Director of MACBA. This unique event transforms the space into a live storytelling environment, where women’s narratives take center stage.

“Tales & Tellers” explores how stories shape our understanding of the world. The event brings together films from Miu Miu Women’s Tales and artistic pieces from past runway shows, represented by actors reenacting these stories in a physical and immersive manner. These « custodians » become guardians of the narratives, connecting the audience to the tales of diverse female voices.

The project will also feature screenings, discussions, and panels, offering a space for filmmakers and artists to share their personal histories and inspirations. Open to the public, “Tales & Tellers” invites attendees to engage with these powerful stories in an intimate and interactive setting.

Through this collaboration with Art Basel Paris, Miu Miu continues to honor the multiplicity of women’s experiences, creating a dialogue between art, fashion, and storytelling.

‘Tales & Tellers’ is part of Art Basel Paris’s Public Program and will be staged at the Palais d’Iéna in Paris,  open to the public from October 16th to October 20th 2024.
