MONCLER FREEZE FOR FRIEZE PROJECT

Moncler has always been a great champion of the arts. From its artistic campaigns photographed by Annie Leibovitz to its latest capsule collection in collaboration with artists duo FriendsWithYou, the House injects a great dose of artistic research into every field of work. From October 7 to 9, Moncler further expands its supports to the arts with Freeze for Frieze, a special project in its new Old Bond Street store in collaboration with the Royal College of Art. The project aims at raising funds to support the College’s most promising students and give two of them the opportunity to be granted a two-year specialization within the Royal College of Art. For this project, Moncler gathered around 400 works (all presented as anonymous postcards signed on the back) that will be exhibited and sold in its boutique at a unique price of ‎£60 at the occasion of Frieze London 2016. Moncler asked artists, fashion designers, and leading figures in music, design, and culture in general, to represent their own fields, as well as arts students, to give one of their works to be exhibited in the Moncler store. Contributing artists and personalities include John Baldessari, Gill Button, FriendsWithYou, Lawrence Weiner, as well as actors Jessica Chastain, Jude Law, and designers J.W. Anderson, Sarah Burton, Marco de Vincenzo, Alber Elbaz, and more. Once again, Moncler shows its deep commitment to art and desire to help next generation explore all the possibilities their own creative minds can offer them.
