MONCLER GENIUS WELCOMES JW ANDERSON

It’s already the third edition of Moncler Genius, Moncler’s platform for creative and boundary-defying designers which has been creating pathways between heritage and experimental visions. Constantly evolving, Moncler Genius has just presented the 2020 lineup, welcoming a new designer in the crew: the visionary Northern Irish designer JW Anderson who has been making waves both under his own label and at Loewe, giving fashion a much needed update on gender roles, blending the masculine with the feminine unexpectedly. He is joining the already existing team of designers including Sergio Zambon and Veronica Leoni for 2 Moncler 1952, Sandro Mandrino for 3 Moncler Grenoble, Simone Rocha, Craig Green, Matthew Williams of 1017 ALYX 9SM, Fragment Hiroshi Fujiwara, Richard Quinn and Poldo Dog Couture. A wild bunch of talented being all united under the Moncler house.

This year also marks the Moncler Genius collaboration with Rimowa for a new travel concept called « Reflection », which brings novel innovations in technology, connectivity and communication, taking into account the shifts in a social-media-driven society. Moncler knows there is no turning back and that designing a collection is only the beginning of a brand’s identity. With this installment, they aim bring digital aspects to life and give the public a chance to interact directly with the product. As usual, Moncler Genius always surprises!
