MONCLER PRESENTS: ONE HOUSE, DIFFERENT VOICES

By Alice Butterlin

It’s been a year already since the launch of Moncler Genius, a creative outlet made to connect creative and singular minds together around the Moncler universe and beyond. The initiative has shed light on many unique designers who have given their own vision of the Moncler identity. This season, new voices have emerged from all age groups and horizons and the Italian house is welcoming Richard Quinn and Matthew Williams from 1017 ALYX 9SM. Veronica Leoni and Sergio Zambon take the reigns of the Moncler 1952 line. Remo Ruffini has understood that times have changed and a house directed by one creative director only is not viable. Today it’s all about collaboration and hybridation. Moncler Genius is a perfect example of that phenomenon.

The work of all the Moncler Genius designers will be presented on February 20th with an event showcasing the collections of Pierpaolo Piccioli & Liya Kebede, Sergio Zambon and Veronica Leoni for Moncler 1952, Sandro Mandrino for Moncler Grenoble, Simone Rocha, Craig Green, Matthew Williams, Richard Quinn, Fragment Hiroshi Fujiwara, Palm Angels Francesco Ragazzi and Poldo Dog Couture. For the sake of inclusiveness, Moncler will open its Milan Moncler Genius Building to the general public on February 24th.
