ON THE RUNWAY AT MONCLER GAMME ROUGE SS17
This season, Giambattista Valli dives into the Moncler French heritage for a collection that takes inspiration from military wear. His army of polished girls wear sleek silhouettes embellished with tricolor details referencing the French flag – Moncler originates from the Grenoble area, even though the House is now based in Italy. The Moncler Gamme Rouge girl wears structured silhouettes such as monochrome jackets with harness details, ensembles are printed architectural plans, and of course, the emblematic Moncler puffer jacket – a lighter version tied at the waist by a black knot. Monochrome flower embellishments make an apparition on some looks and provide an added sensuality to the collection, while the models either wear tricolor sneakers or flip-flops with a metallic shine. To top it all off, some of them even wear kepis. Confident and definitely young, the Moncler Gamme Rouge girl is marching towards her future.
