Canadian luxury outerwear brand Moose Knuckles has collaborated with the pioneering New York-based unisex brand Telfar. The ready-to-wear and accessory collection focuses on creating new weather-resistant silhouettes that embody ostentatious anonymity: a typical New York penchant for getting noticed while minding your own business. Moose Knuckles’ iconic pieces were interpreted with eye-catching futuristic appeal for those who want to make a statement while staying warm in sub-zero temperatures.

« In New York, coats are basically your car. So if you’re self-employed, your coat is also your workplace, » says Telfar Clemens, Founder and Creative Director at Telfar. « They’re essentially coats for taking care of business. »

The  collaboration continues to pay homage to typical city cold weather tradition and comes in three colors – timeless black and, for the first time, gold and silver – drawing inspiration from the material used in Moose Knuckles’ Icons collection. The collection includes the classic weather-resistant bomber jacket and matching pants, both covered in fox fur or lamb shearling. Other pieces include a leather jacket and sweatshirt – consisting of a quilted hoodie and matching sweatpants – all adorned with the Telfar quilted monogram and embroidery.

Moose Knuckles x Telfar will also offer an expanded line of tote bags, building on last year’s coveted styles. The new collection includes the small quilted shopper bag with an all-over puzzle Telfar monogram in a down-filled quilted nylon. The medium and large quilted shoppers will be offered in leather and down-filled nylon. For the first time, the medium puff quilted shopper, also made of down-filled nylon with the Telfar logo in the center, will also be available.
