MSGM LOOKS TO A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE WITH THE PRESENTATION OF ITS FIRST ECO-FRIENDLY FOOTWEAR

By Crash redaction

The SS23 collection from the fashion label founded by Massimo Giorgetti welcomes the addition of a line of eco-friendly sneakers developed thanks to ACBC, the first and only Italian BCorp in the shoe sector.

During the SS23 collection fashion show the FG1 green sneakers  were presented, an acronym for ‘Fantastic Green 1’, named after the ecological project launched by the Fashion House.
ACBC, a circular science company and Italy’s first BCorp in the footwear sector, joined forces with the Brand led by Creative Director Massimo Giorgetti to create a collection that not only respects the planet and workers, but also brings a wave of energy, light-heartedness and above all optimism.

The FG1 shoes are available in two unisex versions, high and low, and in a wide range of colors, from the lighter shades of nude to the more striking green and purple. The uppers are made of VegSkin, derived from natural materials, while the sole is made of ReRubber technology, a product of pre-consumer rubber waste recycling. The laces and lining are made of RePet, produced from recycled plastic bottles, which guarantees the saving of a large amount of CO2.

The FG1 trainers are available on the MSGM e-commerce website and at the MSGM flagship stores in Milan and London.
