DISCOVER MSGM’S LATEST MENSWEAR COLLECTION FOR FALL-WINTER 2017/2018
During the last days of the Milan Menswear Fashion Week, MSGM presented its Fall-Winter 2017/2018 collection yesterday. The collection further confirmed something we saw in many of the previous fashion shows: they want to reintroduce the tracksuit as an integral part of the wardrobe, while showing that it can be worn in every circumstance or to complete any kind of chic or casual outfit, without having to go for a total tracksuit look. In their hands, the tracksuit is the perfect addition to every silhouette.
Once again, the hoodie is a leading piece to add a relaxed air to more chic looks, such as under a suit or blazer. Short and distinguished, it works with every possible look. MSGM’s collection conveyed the image of a man who is relaxed, but who also has a flair for chic details. Moreover, the Puffa jacket continues to penetrate the fall-winter wardrobe, as it is very present here after several years of neglect. We also observe some playful layering, as with jackets under coats, fine polo-neck jumpers or shirts under hoodies, or blazers under jackets. Designer Massimo Giorgetti has chosen check, tartan, and striped prints for his line, as well as quilted materials. Finally, the collection’s favorite accessory is the cap, sometimes covered with a scarf, a sweater hood, or a half woolly hat. Discover images of the collection below.
