With this resort 2016 collection, David Koma celebrates one year as creative director of Mugler. This season, Koma introduces pastel colors such as coral, light blue or green in addition to his already iconic variations on black and white. Stripes are a great part of this collection and are declined in many ways: they take different sizes and directions on an asymmetrical dress, creating a very graphic vision, or they appear as thin white lines on short black dresses, which give them a very « digital » look. Metallic pearls are the common thread of this collection. They make discret appearances on shoulders and hips and create a « cascade » when placed on oval arabesques on the front and sides of three of the dresses. As always, a very glamorous, strong, and feminine vision that definitely represents the 2016 Mugler woman.
