29 WOMEN OFFER THEIR FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPHY FOR « NECKER AT HEART »

This November, LeSpot, the private social network dedicated to women, Sandra Mullez at Sam Art Projects, and Marie-Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre have joined forces to help raise funds for the Necker hospital for children in Paris. « Necker at Heart » is a charitable initiative that brings 29 women and mothers together, all involved in helping people in need in their own way. For this initiative, the 29 participating women have each been invited to put a photograph from their favorite artist for auction in order to raise funds for the Necker hospital.

Among these dedicated women, Russian supermodel and philanthropist Natalia Vodianova chose « Awakening », a photograph by Timofey Kolesnikov. Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, who has always been involved in the fight against AIDS, chose a picture of Jeanloup Sieff called « Main ». To name but a few, the selection of photographs counts artists like Larry Clark, Frank Perrin or Julio Leparc, chosen by this group of women from all over the world. From November 12 to November 14, the 29 photographs will be shown as part of an exhibition at Artcurial in Paris.

The exceptional auction will take place at Artcurial on November 14 as part of Paris Photo with auctioneer François Tajan and expert Arnaud Adida and will be open to the public. The auction will be followed by a dinner party in presence of the women and artists at the Hotel Marginan. Just like the auction, the dinner party will be open to everyone for 85 euros per person. All the profits from the auction will be donated to the Necker hospital’s traumatology unit of in order to help them finance a new medical laboratory that will tremendously benefit the children’s treatments.
